Last Coaching Session

Coaching ends today.. that sucks...
I just found out that the other coach who signed up for basketball coaching got to work with the lowest team for the girls...
Now I regret not signing up for winter coaching.. then I can work with the same girls... which means I don't have to be really good at basketball... and I can work with the other coach that I already knew..
Coz i thought there's a little chance that I get to work with the lowest team.. plus I'll have to work with another coach, who'll most likely know how to play basketball really well.. and I'll look like an idiot
Now that he got the lowest team.. if i had signed up.. chances are.. we both get the 2 lowest teams.. and I won't look like an idiot coz he's not very good at it either
damn..

Anyways.. back to badminton
yeah.. as I said... coaching ends today.. kinda sad...
it will be long before i get to coach again.. start of next year.. or end of this year if they ask me to do the 'firsts'...
and it wouldn't be the same.. different girls... and i'll have to work with another new coach

Had pizzas and softdrinks today.. for the award presentation
Had a hard time deciding who should get the trophy
I think all of them deserved it..
6 girls.. and only 2 trophies to give away
see.. when i was a student.. when coaches says "it's really hard to decide who should get it coz i think all of u should get it" i always think.. what a load of crap
coz really... i thought.. there's no way that "everyone" deserves to get the trophy
but now i get it... it IS hard to decide .. coz .. yeah.. i hate to admit it.. but everyone kinda deserves a trophy
thing is.. i got a really good team this year >;)
no one gave me a hard time... all of them turned up to training sessions & games... or if they don't turn up.. they have a valid reason (coz really.. i would know if they're just lying coz i've been there.. done that.. i know all the tricks in the book.. i used to write fake notes for them for God's sake... *ssshhh*)
they helped in packing up (and sometimes in setting up)... whilst the third coach doesn't even do shit! she just sat there, marking the role, watching the girls play, always first to leave the court, didn't even help pack up the racquets.. let alone the courts (nets & poles)
Anyways... they aall do what i tell them to do (running, footwork.. u know.. the usual stuff).. and i know it's kinda hard for some of them coz they're used to being slackers during badminton training.. coz apparently from what i heard from pikachu & D.. they only muck around during their training sessions..
So i kinda appreciate the girls trying their best during training sessions.. coz it's hard to go from not doing anything.. to suddenly doing 6 corners footwork.. left and right.. front and back.. and learning new shots

Anyways.. back to trophy.. usually it's only hard to decide who should get the coach's award.. coz basically the best & fairest awards... well the award practically speaks for itself.. the best player should be the one who gets it
thing is.. i've got 2 girls with same capabilities & same level of skills... one of them got to play the higher position in 3 of the games.. the other one played the higher position in the other 3 games.. and when i get them to play each other.. one of them probably won by only 1 or 2 points
so i decided to give it to both of them.. and they can share it.. they're twins anyways.. they're used to sharing stuff.. lol
coz it's kinda unfair to give it to one of them, and leave the other one empty handed..
and also not fair not to give both of them the trophy on the basis that they got it last year.. i mean.. last year is last year.. this year is this year.. they tried hard last year.. they got awarded for it.. and this year they tried even harder.. and i think they should be awarded for it

Anyways... moving on.. coach's award
really really hard to decide ;)
but I finally decided to give it to a girl who always turn up to training sessions & games.. always either the earliest or the second earliest to arrive.. and try her hardest in improving her shots.. has a good attitude...

Bottom line.. *sigh* no more coaching
I'm gonna miss it...
this time i'm really 'out of school' .. as in.. no interaction with school whatsoever..
I know I've graduated since last year.. but i still go there 3 times a week to coach the girls
but now.. not anymore..
Sad.. sad.. sad.. sad.. really sad

Dinner time.. I'm still so full of pizza & vanilla coke
