Feel like writing today :) - that's a good sign
In a happy mood... Maybe because the fact that it is sunday... Don't look at the angle where i have to go to school tomorrow.. but think of it as 5 more days of official school, 1 day of speech nite rehearsal & the actual thing, and 1 valedictory day
I'm looking forward to them... No.. Really
I know.. usually speech nights are boring... and we never look forward to it.. especially not the part where my principal and the head of the school council gave their own speeches.. but talks about hte same thing and rambles on an on about the same stupid & boring stuff... which by the way... Now seriously... why do you need to say it twice? Why can't u meet up at some point during the week and discuss your speech so what you say is not gonna be a repetition of whoever comes up and talks first
Anyway... well.. this is MY speech night.. u can say it as sort of a Graduation Night... There's no graduation costumes and stuff.. and more importantly, no throwing one of those hats into the air... But it's still a graduation.. We still get to go up in our house groups.. get our names called out one by one as we step forward... That's the sort of graduation we have here.. and other schools too... hmm...
Anyway... once in a lifetime.. (or school time) that I'm looking foward to going to speech night.. usually i don't give a shit coz it's not my graduation... it someone else's.. and who cares about them.. maybe the highlight of the evening will only be seeing some of my senior friends get up there and wondering who gets what price.. if i know anyone of them
btw... well.. part of why i'm excited is also coz i'm getting a school prize... commerce & badminton... i've gotten a prize in yr 10.. got up there too.. but it was for something that i don't wanna mention here coz it's not very special.. hahaha
Anyway.. that's all about speech night.. it's on tuesday.. so.. the day after tomorrow
Hmm.. what else... o yeah.. i just spoke to one of my juniors (1 level below) about badminton try-outs at school this season... she said she's not gonna try out coz they're not gonna have the same coach... well.. why did she (the coach) have to leave this year? why not this year or last year or the year before when I'm actually in the first.. so I don't have to face her sinistic attitude towards me... and I did nothing wrong... Geez.... it happened to my doubles partner last year... who graduated last year.. I didn't believe her when she said the coach hates her... but then.. this year.. I experienced it myself...
Anyway.. seems like this junior of mine is not gonna try out coz she can't be stuffed... coz none of the old players will be there... there were actually 3 yr 12 players in the first team... and 2 yr 11 players.. which is her and some other chick from the other campus.. well the 3 of us are graduating, so don't have to play for the school anymore... and the other chick from the other campus has music rehearsals and maths tutor so she can't commit to training & matches... So basically.. my junior is left alone.. and thou she has some friends who are trying out.. she couldn't be bothered coz she doesn't think that they're good enuf for the first... i mean.. she's not mean or anything.. but some of these girls are actually so arrogant that they think they're good enuf for the first team... and i admit it... they were actually in the 2nds this year... but that's only coz they tried out for the first and didn't get in.. so they were automatically dropped into 2nds.. and from my point of view (it's ok if u don't agree) some of them aren't even good enuf to be in 2nds... Pikachu is in 3rds/4ths/5ths.. i don't really know which one.. all of them went to training together... so sometimes I just tag along pikachu during her training or matches (if I have a day off from training.. or if our scheduled training days are different) so I've seen some of the girls play... and i can tell that some of them are better than those arrogants in 2nds and the girls should be in that team instead of the arrogants
Anyway.. just saying that my campus' girl's head of sport, who is the badminton coordinator (she's actually really nice) will probably be... how should i say it... sad? coz all of the girls from her old team are either leaving, or not trying out this season.. so she will have a brand new team with (and i don't mean to be really arrogant or a bastard or anything) a lower quality... unless the new coach can kick their arses and do a huge work/makeover on them
Anyway.. maybe i'll get to play the match between current players and ex-players at the end of next year... and we'll just see how they go...
P.S: I played for the current players at the end of last year.. and we kicked the ex-player's butt! hahaha.. makes me feel good coz the chick that i played with was apparently the captain too.. and in her era.. they won the aps cup.. and everyone said she's really good.. so it makes me feel good to beat her.. thou i still can't beat my ex doubles partner (the one that said the old coach hates her)... and i'll never win against her.. dammit
