Yay! Yay!
Done all of the stuff in my to do list
At least ones that I have control over..

There's one that can only be done when I start coaching again.. meaning when high school starts next year.. Getting my uni accounting stuff back from my high school accounting teacher.. Obviously I'm too lazy to go all the way to my old high school just to get the two booklets.. so I need to wait until I have to coach again.. killing 2 birds with 1 stone

There's one that has to wait for uni to start again next year

There's one that I can't complete coz my boss hasn't gotten back to me on it yet! bloody hell... this is concerning transfering my superannuation money to another company
Told her about it a couple of weeks ago.. said that she has passed on the documents to her accountant
Haven't gotten back to me ever since... Emailed her whether the accountant's gonna take care of all of it.. or is he still working on the forms/paperwork and will send it back to me.. which will let me do what I'm supposed to do.. which is sending the forms back to my choice of superannuation company.. by myself....

Then there's one.. well lets just say this one's my fault.. left it to the last minute.. now there isn't enough time to do it..
ah well.. it's not urgent anyway.. can wait for me till I get back

Hm.. leaving home in 2 hours... I've been told we're leaving for the aiport at 9pm... and my flight is 50 minutes past midnight.. i still can't get over why we need to leave so early.. if I were travelling by myself.. i would leave at.. maybe around 10.. (plus a couple of minutes to do some last-minute chores)

Finished packing last night.. well.. last morning really.. at 3 am... was gonna do it this morning.. but everyone's been bugging me.. telling me to start packing..
what's the hurry.. i always pack in the morning anyways.. and nothing's ever gone wrong.. never forgot to take anything with me..

Anyways..
hmm... 17 days in japan.. 17 days in indo... gonna miss my pillow... lol
Taking another pillow with me instead of my favourite one.. that one's too old.. my baby pillow.. it's fragile.. i don't want anything to happen to it.. huahahahahaha
gonna be cold in japan around this time of the year... wonder if i can stand wearing 4 layers all-day-everyday for 17 days straight..

Gonna be so bored @ changi airport.. will be arriving there around 5 singapore time.. meaning most of the shops at the airport are still closed.. this always happens to me every year... but this time it's worst.. coz instead of waiting for 2-3 hours for a connecting flight to indo.. i'll have 4 hours of spare time in my hand waiting for that connecting flight to japan

hmm hmm hmmm

Anyways.. i guess this will be my last post of the year..
but then again.. it might be like last year.. where I said it would be the last post of the year.. but then I got so bored @ Changi that I went online & post up another one.. just for killing time i guess.. though I don't really have anything worth saying
hahaha

Hm.. holidays...
come to think of it.. i've been on holidays for 26 days now.. but it doesn't really feel like it...
You know that feeling.. during the semester... you wait so eagerly for the holidays.. then come exam.. you become more excited about the holidays..
then holidays arrive.. but u don't really feel like there's anything special about it..
you turn to eagerly waiting for your vacation
but now that it's here.. it's not as exciting anymore...
i was excited for japan.. now i'm not.. instead.. i'm more excited about going back to indo..

This time i made sure that i'm not spending too much time in indo.. otherwise i'll get so bored...
17 days is enough
7 days stay with the 'big family'
and happy 10 days with loved ones :)))
Of course.. out of that 7 days.. i'm planning to spend 4 of them with my friends
See if their timetable matches mine...

Anyways.. back to watching family guy...
If I don't spend my time in Singapore by going online & writing up another post..
I guess this is it for the year.. sorry for all the quiz-results & trivia posts... sometimes I'm just too lazy to write up a long post...
I wasn't even planning to write a long one this time .. it just happens that i'm not too lazy to type what's in my head
anyway.. been a great year >:D A terrific year actually.. a wonderful year :))))

Have a merry merry merry MERRY CHRISTMAS '06 to those who celebrates
And a very very very HAPPY NEW YEAR '07 to everyone!!!

HAPPY HOLIDAYS people!!! Hope you guys will have a great holiday!!!

I'm Harry Potter !!!

Which Fantasy/SciFi Character Are You?

Online quiz.. which character are you
I forgot to copy the description.. ah well..
Lol
!!! EXPECTO PATRONUM !!!

Here's a tough one

In a criminal justice system, it would be preferable for you to:

If you let a guilty person go free.. say a rapist.. think of how many women/girls he/she will end up raping
Say it's a murderer.. think of how many families are going to lose their mum/dad/wife/husband/children/brother/sister/friends/grandpa/grandma/etc
What if.. those people raped or killed is someone that you know?

But.. won't you feel guilty for the rest of your life for sending someone innocent to a prison, confined in a small cell, for a very very very long time?
Would you be able to sleep at night?
What if.. you are that 'innocent person'?

P.S. The answer can't be 'neither'
Or 'I choose the 2nd option given that we'll catch the bad guys again in less than 24 hours'
Just keep it simple
Think about it.. there's no right or wrong answer

Rules Of The Lab

chemist_1.gif1) If an experiment works, something has gone wrong.
2) When you don't know what you're doing, do it neatly.
3) Experiments must be reproduceable, they should fail the same way each time.
4) First draw your curves, then plot your data.
5) Experience is directly proportional to equipment ruined.
6) Always keep a record of your data. It indicates that you have been working.
7) To do a lab really well, have your report done well in advance.
8) If you can't get the answer in the usual manner, start at the answer and derive the question.
9) In case of doubt, make it sound convincing.
10) Do not believe in miracles--rely on them.
11) Team work is essential, it allows you to blame someone else.
12) All unmarked beakers contain fast-acting, extremely toxic poisons.
13) No experiment is a complete failure. At least it can serve as a negative example.
14) Any delicate and expensive piece of glassware will break before any use can be made of it.

The Day

Quote of the day (selected):
Maturity is a bitter disappointment for which no remedy exists, unless laughter can be said to remedy anything.
- Kurt Vonnegut

Joke of the day (selected):
A minister told his congregation, "Next week I plan to preach about the sin of lying. To help you understand my sermon, I want you all to read Mark 17."
The following Sunday, as he prepared to deliver his sermon, the minister asked for a show of hands. He wanted to know how many had read Mark 17. Every hand went up. The minister smiled and said, "Mark has only sixteen chapters. I will now proceed with my sermon on the sin of lying."

Gloom

Someone's leaving....
*Gloom*

Today's state: sleepy - bored - tired - happy - slightly pissed - happy - gloomy - gloomy & disappointed - gloomy & tired

Lost something, but is a good experience itself

I'm guessing I'm not making any sense to any of you reading my blog
But I don't really feel like sharing my private thoughts / feelings publicly
Nor do I have the energy to tell the whole story

So I should end it here...

Riddle *SPOILER WARNING*

THE ANSWERS TO THE QUESTIONS BELOW ARE POSTED AT THE END OF THIS POST IN RED
IF YOU WISH TO ATTEMPT TO ANSWER THESE RIDDLES YOURSELF, PLEASE DO NOT SCROLL DOWN

P.S. please at least give it a go... use your brains people!!!

Riddle 1:
What is better than the best, more evil than demons, the poor have it and the rich need it, and if you eat it, you will die?

Riddle 2:
While driving home after a hard day's work, I came upon the following problem. An entire town had been painted black; the roads, pavements, buildings, hedges, and everything that did not move had been painted black. In addition, my vehicle's headlights were not working, no moon was visible, and power was off in the area, so there were no street or house lights around. At that moment, I entered a curve where a solid black dog (deaf, and thus unaware of the approaching car) was sitting in the road. He had his back to me, so there was not even a glint in his eye, yet I was able to swerve round him quite easily and without danger. How was this achieved?

Riddle 3:
Think of words ending in -GRY. Angry and hungry are two of them. There are only three words in the English language. What is the third word? The word is something that everyone uses every day. If you have listened carefully, I have already told you what it is.

Riddle 4:
A clever thief in the olden days was charged with treason against the king and sentenced to death. But the king decided to be a little lenient so he let the thief choose his own way to die. What way should the thief choose?

Riddle 5:
This is an unusual paragraph. I'm curious how quickly you can find out what is so unusual about it? It looks so plain you would think nothing was wrong with it! In fact, nothing is wrong with it! It is unusual though. Study it, and think about it, but you still may not find anything odd. But if you work at it a bit, you might find out! Try to do so without any coaching!

Yes, I'm Stressed

Took 2 quiz from 2 different websites

From the SBC Academic Resource Center:
If you tallied up a score ranging between 51 and 60, your stress level is marginal and you are bordering on being excessively tense.

From Dr. Richard Weinstein, D.C. 's website:
14 and above = you need immediate evaluation and treatment for stress hormone imbalances before something really bad happens to you, if it already hasn’t. To find more information on stress hormone testing, see the index at the top of the How Stress Makes You Sick page and click on the entry 'Testing Stress/Inflammation (Cortisol) Levels – Salivary Testing'

Sort of believe the second source.. most of the questions asked were related to me...

Yes... I'm stressed...
