On a Saturday night...

Dude.. im gonna write up a post telling u how today went
Coz i know u're so addicted to reading my blog when u are at work... thou woman.. u SHOULD be working and ACTUALLY EARNING the money ur employer is paying u!

So anyway here goes... the story of my life
(just for one day.. well not even a full day since it's only 6.30 pm now)

So I didnt actually get much sleep last night... I stayed up til about 4 am trying to cram a semester's worth of theories into this 'little' brain of mine.
Then I went to bed.. but I couldnt fall asleep straight away (maybe coz u're on my mind a lot??? lol... omg I need a bucket that I can barf into)
So I reckon I fell asleep just before 5am
Had to wake up at 7ish.. ended up waking at 7.15.. so lets just say thats 2 hours of sleep.
Man it was friggin cold this morning! As if waking up at 7 in the morning after only 2 hours of sleep is not hard enuf.. they HAD to make it a freezing one... and it was raining!
So anyway.. left the house.. and as u know I was planning to go along Belgrave rd and turn right into Neerim...
And I'm not sure what happened exactly.. but I went too far and ended up @ murrumbeenna road... lol
I think I was too sleepy to notice.. and it was raining heavily that I could barely make out where I was..
But yeah.. all good thou.. just needed to do a U-ey and ............ long story short I got to CGS.. but 10 mins late.. which was OK since the head of ... wasn't there yet (i'm really developing a habit of not finishing my sentence...)

So anyway.. to the game now
The girls actually did quite well... I was kinda surprised actually
They got trashed 1-5 last week playing one of the bottom 2 schools.. but today they played against the school who was just one spot below us on the ladder last season, and JUST lost..
It was 3-3.. too bad we lost by 16 points... mannn... 16 points... that's really close!
That must mean the intensive shuttlecock training i did on thursday worked... hm.. that means i gotta do more of that
change of training plans... last season's girls started off at the basic.... but this year's are at the basic of the basic.. so I guess gotta train them more intensively and throw heaps of shuttlecocks at them :) ~sometimes smashing it towards them so they won't do any of those stupid middle-height-middle-distance-in-the-smashing-zone shots anymore
(me being nice and never smashing is not working this time.. they gotta learn it the hard way i guess.. lol)

I told them I was gonna buy them mccaz if they won.. coz I did the same thing last season when we played against this particular school.
well..they lost.. so.. hahaha
i dunno.. i might still do it next week.. since they actually played quite well..
we'll see....

So anyway, the girls were saying how they liked my coach uniform.. and were asking me whether they could get a special uniform for badminton.. and i told them how our coach got the head of girls sport from the other campus to approve of us wearing the white tennis shirt and make it as a badminton team shirt...
but then I told them if they want more than that, they should speak to the head of girls sport (who was actually there today)...
Told em that if they really want it, the captain should speak to her.. since u know.. i'm just the coach and i have nothing to do with their uniforms..
And the captn actually spoke to her!
So the head was telling me how they couldn't make any major changes to the uniform mid-season.. and that any major changes should be submitted before the season starts..
But what she could do.. is on our white sports shirt.. just under the emblem... she could make them say '1st badminton IX' or something like that .. i dunno if it's IX or VIII..
Yeah.. just so that they could get recognised and stuff..
She could get the captain to collect it before the holidays.. and the school will do it during the holidays.. and get it back to them before the season starts again next year..
The girls were happy with it.. and she asked me whether I was ok with it..
and I was like.. "err.. yea sure.. doesn't really matter to me"
but then I said "thou the school should've done that ages ago so I could get one of my own :) "
lol

Err.. yeah.. thats all i got for today
It was raining heavily when they played... I could barely hear the sound of.. u kno.. the sound a good player makes when their racket hits the shuttle cock really hard (crappy players never make that noise)
Yer... crappy weather today.. cold.. wet.. hail..
A good sleeping weather thou.. which was why I spent 2 hours sleeping once I got home

o yeah.. and thx for writing my emails too.. u know if u by any chance fail ur entire degree (which must mean u're really stupid or lazy given only 10-30% of ur marks goes to exam.. lol) i reckon u can make a good secretary (who chugs on berocca every morning)

Good news.. my girls won their matches yesterday :)

I was too tired thou... didn't sleep that night (as I mentioned before).. personal record for me.
Too tired to the point that when I was looking for one girl amongst all 7 of them..
"S... S.. Sssssssssssssssss.... where are u?"
and she was like
"I'm right here.. i'm right infront of u"

yes... she was literally standing 1 meter away from me...

It is now 5.08 am

and I need to be at work at 8 am
Coaching a game against... i forgot...
That means I have to get ready in a lil less than 2 hours (7 am)

Marking the end of an era...

Had my final lecture and tute today.. which only means 1 thing: No more uni! Yay!
Well.. at least i'm not planning to do anymore of it in the near future... I dunno, i might suddenly have a change of heart..
I sorta still have a tax law revision lecture on monday.. during swot vac week..
So i guess this is marking the end of an era part 1
